The PRD system was down for some reason on April 11, 2015 as a result of which the rescheduling job was affected. The job which consists of 13 steps didn't complete and the job log was not updated after 4/11 after 8.58 AM. The job was partially completed till step 5 leaving out Mexico and EMEA plants including the other steps.

Solution Analysis and Recommendations

The system failure caused the job to become inactive and hence was cancelled.

Set up a new job with the missed steps to reschedule the open items.The first step to include the materials should be included for selection input.

Resolution

---

A new job RESCHEDULING_REMAINING STEPS with the Mexico and EMEA plants was set up and kicked off in background. The open items were rescheduled and details were logged in the spool.


The job failed at step 7 for a DB issue but this didn't have any impact on the open items as both the correction report and the ARUN steps are run daily in the ARUN jobs for all the regions.
